Matt makes English wines based on Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Bacchus grown by himself in the Leicestershire Wolds. Italian wines grown and made in Northern Italy from indigenous Piedmontese varieties.
The emphasis is on careful grape handling and extended infusion macerations.

Focused on grapes from his small vineyard plot on great soil. Making them into wines that allow that sense of place to show through in a very hands off way. Minimal handling and interventions in the form of sulphur, fining and filtration. None of this done in a dogmatic way, but with the aim of the tastiest wine possible ending up in the glass: a glass of wine that is full of pleasure and delight.
